How our property research reports work
Property Checkpoint provides independent, development-level property research for buyers considering real estate in Mexico. Each report brings together public records, developer and company information, current market evidence, condominium and HOA information, physical and environmental findings, and clearly identified information gaps.
The goal
The goal is simple: help you understand what the available evidence establishes, what remains unclear, and what questions should be resolved before you commit to a specific property.
From research to report
- 1
Choose a development
Browse the Property Checkpoint report catalogue and select the development you are considering.
- 2
Review the report scope
Each report explains what was researched, when the research and market checks were completed, and what the report does and does not cover.
- 3
Purchase the report
Each Property Checkpoint Report is a one-time purchase of US$39. After purchase, you receive the development report as a PDF.
- 4
Use the findings before you commit
The report separates what the available evidence establishes from what remains unclear or could not be established. It also identifies questions to take to your agent or seller before moving forward with a specific property.
Choosing research before a property purchase
Start with the development name and location. Review the listed scope and dates, then compare the illustrative sample with the questions you need answered. The PDF provides public-source context; it does not replace checks on the particular home you may buy.
Buyers and investors can share relevant findings with the advisers assisting their transaction, subject to the report terms of use. A seller, agent, solicitor or notary may be able to resolve questions the development research could not establish. We do not provide those transaction-specific professional services.
